MARCH, 2016 – Dr. Murray McPail, Chiropractor came to speak about “Maintaining Health As We Age.”
DECEMBER 2015 – a Christmas Party was hosted by the "Fab 4" at Nicolette Parant's home, featuring an "ugly sweater" contest along with fun and games.
NOVEMBER 2015 – hosted by the "Supremes" – this gathering was held at Simply Creative Pottery Studio, 158 Main St E, Milton. We learned how the process glass and made either a Christmas ornament or a necklace.
SEPTEMBER 2015 – a "welcome back" and organizing meeting for the 2015-16 year
JUNE 2015 – an end-of-season party hosted at Kathy Sellers home by the Fab 4
MAY 2015: Featured a "field trip" to Crawfords Country Gardens hosted by the Deux-ies. After a wonderful tour through the greenhouses, guests had a chance to quiz Sarah Pell (one of the owners) with their most pressing garden questions. (More photos)
APRIL 2015:
Visiting Africa, hosted by the Deux-ies. Mavis O'Neil, Barb McFarlane and Jean Lillie presented photos and mementos from their visits to Africa last fall.
MARCH 2015: The Trillium French Hens welcomed seven members of Therapeutic Touch who shared information about TT as well as demonstrated what it is like. The group was from Trinity United Church in Guelph and included Rev. John Benham.
FEBRUARY 2015: The Fab Four put together a fun night of games in February that deepened the bonds of friendship. Laughter was shared by all.
JANUARY 2015: Movie night had to be delayed by a week because Birkdale closed its doors to outside groups during the flu season. However, the Supremes hosted the group and enjoyed a movie on friendship a week late.
DECEMBER 2014: The Trillium French Hens hosted the evening with a Christmas cookie exchange and Jamberry nails demonstration. Contributions of new, warm, winter hats, gloves and scarves were donated to the guests who enjoy the Christmas Meal for patrons of the Milton Food Bank on Dec. 15.
NOVEMBER 2014: Shirley Dusmet talked about her trip to China in the summer. She joined a group of Milton teachers who donated their time to help Chinese children learn English. Shirley's description of her month-long trip was very enjoyable. The evening was hosted by The Supremes.
OCTOBER 2014: The Fab 4 group of the Women of Faith invited Helen Martin and her daughter Judy to present on the topic of Ovarian Cancer Canada's "Knowledge is Power" – an eye-opening presentation for everyone there.
